Australian Economy Booming - Work Choices Provides Stability

I just cannot figure this one out really, in that whilst Labor leader Kevin Rudd currently has a margin around 10 point over John Howard for preferred Prime Minister in the coming weeks election, the facts still dictate that the Liberal party has completely overhauled the Australian economy as a global player. When Labor was last in power they completely destroyed the economy, interest rates were booming high, the common worker they so fundamentally state they are all for, got screwed to the wall from the Labor party. The Labor party used many and various runners, though to no avail until now... Kevin07.

People are voting for the man based purely on his "younger looks" over John Howard. How does one actually make that a requisite on who to vote for! (Shit... both of them have grey hair) Rudd has some good policies, yet one of his issues is not a good decision. That issue is removing the Work Choices platform of employment that the Liberals introduced. The system basically took back some of the much needed employment control from the employee to the employer. Whilst the employee may be kicking and screaming about their individual rights, the overall aspect this program has done to the Australian economy is unbelievable.

Parties have tried for centuries to work out how to stabilise an economy, and this has pretty much done exactly that. Work Choices makes employment for the employer more flexible, and whilst some take advantage of this and screw some employee's to the wall, those abusing the system are slowly being caught up with and being made to fix and repay all stupidity to their employee's.

Work Choices balances the economy through adaptive employment solutions. That is what it does, and does it well. Award rates and forcing employers to do this, do that, not sack a person due to lack of work and so forth is what constantly breaks companies before Work Choices. No companies, no work for all involved. Atleast flexibility allows stability for the company to work through tough times, profit through the good times and marginalise their earnings to utilise throughout a fiscal year.

No other program has yet done this, and Kevin Rudds Union orientated plan, being to scrap Work Choices and bring back unions is only going to put the Australian economy back onto an ever spinning roundabout of trouble. Work Choices constantly stabilizes the entire economy, with only small changes having to be made in interest rates to inflation, instead of Labor's own words, "needed recessions." There is no such thing as a recession we needed, yet we will be back in one with Labor coming around for power once again.

Honestly most of the Australian population don't understand the bigger picture to something like Work Choices, and that's a shame. If Labor wins and didn't touch Work Choices, no problems. Labor though have stated its one of the first and priority issues on their agenda.... get rid of Work Choices and bring back award wages, unions and the like.

I hope Australians have their money all saved up for the coming years, because we are going backwards once Labor scraps the very thing giving our economy some stability.
